Great place to stay, quiet and peaceful. David and Denise are brilliant hosts, friendly and welcoming. Lots to do in the surrounding area. I was on a walking holiday so Bude and Widemouth Bay were in easy reach. As buses only cost £2 a trip, an easy region to explore. The cottage I stayed in was well equipped, very clean and tidy, a comfortable home base.

Stayed for a quiet weekend and were not disappointed. David and Denise were so welcoming and friendly. The barn was tastefully converted and had everything you need. Dog friendly as well

Lovely hosts. Clean and well presented accommodation which is dog friendly. Perfect place to explore North Cornwall. Located in the countryside a short drive from Bude.

Had a fantastic Stay in "swallow” 19th to 23rd of October 2020- very well equipped and maintained in perfect secluded location. Beautiful views and very easy access to local beaches in Bude and Widemouth. lovely log burner for cosy evenings. Perfect place for dogs too. Very helpful hosts Gerri and Andy. Thoroughly recommend the whole experience

Had the most fantastic week in Wagtail Barn everything you could wish for..Barn was fab and so was the Garden for our Golden Retriever...also you can hire the owners Beach Hut on Summerleaze beach for only £7.50 which was great..will definitely be going back.

Spent a week here. Great base for touring, clean, comfortable and quite. Just what you need.

David and Denise are so welcoming and have tweaked the Barns but not made major changes. The cottages are well equipped and maintained to a very high standard. Nothing is too much trouble and as they live on site, any issues or questions are quickly resolved. The location is ideal, as only 5 minutes from Widemouth Beach and 10 minutes from Bude. Good access to the Atlantic Highway for trips around Devon and Cornwall. The gardens are secure so you can relax knowing your dogs will be safe. Lovely cottages with everything you'll need for a great stay.
