We were a large group of 8. Food took an hour to arrive after we placed our order. We had small children who's patience was wearing thin. Then order 3 deserts, these took 30min to arrive. Food was good. Let down by the speed of service.

This wonderful pub has had a new lease of life given to it by the current owners! The vibe is excellent, there is live music or DJ's at the weekend creating a fabulous atmosphere. The views are amazing, there are great vegan options available at reasonable prices, good wifi, dog friendly and cash is accepted which to my mind is essential. We were served by the ever-smiling Zoe who looked after us really well! See you soon!

Was asked to pre order 24 hours before as a table of 8. Very dificoult as the menue had little detail “catch of the day” no idea what it would be and what it came with.. also the special board is not an option as not on the online menue. When we arrived we asked if there was a chance of a stater/side dish of any kind (bread, olives, anything to pack out our meal as we missed dinner and was very hungry and the portion sizes are very small. We where told that there was nothing at all that we can add to our order apart from pudding.. I totally understand the need for preorders on perishable foods like expensive fish and meats, but a pot of olives or some bread??… Considering if we had 2 tables of 4 we would have had the option of the whole menu and the specials I found it a little restricting and for that reason would not return.. With all this said the small amount of food we did get was of good quality.

Great pub with super helpful staff and amazing food. Always a pleasure to visit ! There is a campsite open during the summer so the perfect spot for a break, especially with the surfer beach just across the road ! Arrived for a quick drink but managed to get a bite to eat as well. And campsite behind the pub during summer months Food & drinks: Amazing selection of fresh sea foid and great veggi options, a very good menu ! Noteworthy details: Perfect location for a summer break, especially if you love surfing !

Visited the Bay View Inn whilst on holiday. We visited with our 2 boys 4 & 2 for tea and was recommended the Bay View due to them having a play area. It did not disappoint. Very friendly atmosphere and welcoming. Food was very nice and the kids menu had plenty for our boys to choose from. It was a great evening a space for us to relax and enjoy a holiday drink whilst the kids were happy and occupied. Great views too.Would visit again

Went here for a meal for my granddaughters birthday. Firstly the views of the sea were amazing. The staff greeted us and showed us to our table. Very friendly. Nice sea themed decor . We ordered drinks and food. I had fish which was lovely and white and a huge portion. Other meals were vegetable curry with added chicken, buttermilk chicken, burgers, everyone enjoyed there food. Only my grandson had desert as we were all too full he had chocolate brownie which was served with raspberries, looked delicious, he soon wolfed it down. Would certainly visit again.

Fantastic staff and great food. Nicely presented and quick to arrive. The home made chocolate brownie was the best I’ve ever had. Live music added to a great atmosphere. I’m sure we will be back. We’ve been coming to Bude for 40 years and never stepped in - the new makeover and management made it very appealing to try. Glad we did!

Had a few meals at the bay view recently as ownership has changed and what a difference the food is great the service is excellent and the location is perfect. Also good for children who can play in the park on premises.

We were looking forward to visiting after reopening and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Friendly staff, great location & views and all our meals were excellent. Thank you!
